The Resilient Healer Program

JOIN ME FOR

An 8-week online program for helping professionals and here’s what you can expect:

  • Understand the toll vicarious trauma takes on you and learn how to disrupt its impact

  • Get your life back; your energy, health, and vitality with realistic work-life balance.

  • Increase resilience for yourself and your team to create sustainable support to clients.

  • Get a community of women who understand what you’re going through so you can feel validated in your experience.

  • Learn how to be the most effective in your job AND get the optimal outcomes for clients while prioritizing your health needs.

Self-care has been co-opted by a multibillion-dollar wellness industry that wants to sell you a product along with positive thinking as the solution to everything.
But there is a dark reality you live in as healing professional that no amount of mindset shifting is going to change. Knowing how to be your ally in those moments, to care for yourself and the person in front of you is the only sustainable path towards doing good work and having energy for other parts of your life.

We’re not taught how to protect ourselves from vicarious trauma, or what it even means.

There's an undercurrent in crisis response culture that if you can't cut it, there's something wrong with you, and so we don’t ask for help. But your body's response to crises is a normal response to overwhelming stressors. The problem is not your body’s response, but the lack of foundational tools for responding to your nervous system needs. You don’t need to suffer with the weight of the world on your shoulders. You are not alone.

Here’s what the program includes

  • Live weekly group zoom Calls

  • Community space to connect with others who understand the work.

  • Access to resources for wellness and nervous system regulation.

VIP plan also includes weekly one on one sessions and an Individualized wellness plan

This program is for you if:

  • You’re ready to learn about the impacts of vicarious trauma and avoid the costs of caring.

  • You’re tired of feeling exhausted at the end of the day and want the energy and time to have a full life outside of work.

  • You are a woman in Healthcare who feels out of alignment with the system you work for.

  • You’re ready to feel better in your body and prioritize your wellness.

  • You struggle to have boundaries with work and you’re seeing the toll it’s taking on you, your family, health, and relationships.

Cost of the program:

Full group program and bi-weekly one on one sessions with wellness plan: 1,500

Live weekly group calls with email support: 800

Payment plans are possible.

ABOUT YOUR TEACHER

I’M JULIANNE CHAPMAN!

After getting my MSW at 23, I became a social worker in Portland, OR.  I, like many green workers, wanted to be of service and make an impact on the world. My first case was on my first day as a child protective services worker, I was dropped into the work and was given no understanding of the toll the work would take on my mind, body, soul, and life. It was a slow accumulation of traumatic experiences and sleepless nights over 8 years in the field. I didn't realize the impact the job was having on me until I was mentally, emotionally, and physically exhausted. I would listen to people's horrific stories of abuse, hold a wounded child in the hospital, then go home feeling emotionally depleted and lay on my couch eating popcorn as a meal.

I’ve been in the field, I’ve knocked on doors alone, not knowing who was on the other side.  I know how it feels to be running on fumes. Drinking coffee to keep going, eating lunch in your car— if you eat at all—making up a profession at social gatherings so you don’t have to talk about work, and canceling plans on the weekend to catch up on sleep.

It took me 2 years to detox the trauma I held in my body before I started to feel like myself again.

On my healing journey, I was trained as a yoga teacher, certified breathwork facilitator, completed a program in nutrition and integrative medicine for mental health, and a certification in psychedelics for psychotherapy which is the new frontier of trauma treatment.  For the past 5 years, I have been using my healing journey in combination with my knowledge and skillset as a therapist and social worker to train others on how to avoid the pitfalls of vicarious trauma and compassion fatigue. I am not just an academic giving you information. I have been in the field myself and I understand the weight of the burden you carry.

WHAT CLIENTS SAY ABOUT WORKING WITH ME

Testimonials

  • "Working with Julianne felt like coming home to myself, the best parts of myself. I've gained an embodied belief that I am not a broken person. On the contrary, I am someone capable of healing and harnessing the expansiveness of my experiences with love and admiration. Integrating them into my story without them being my story. During a tumultuous and incredibly stressful year, I experienced with Julianne a safe space of tenderness, light, humor, wisdom, human connection, and above all compassion. Julianne has enough hope in the planet and people's capacity for change and healing that it is contagious and impossible not to believe in too."

    - PREVIOUS CLIENT

  • "Great education and ideas about self-care and vicarious trauma. The language you used around “discharging trauma” and finding ways to do so really stuck with me. Also, the idea of creating a buffer between what we hear and what we absorb. Also, thinking about our activated nervous system as the way our body is protecting us from the “version of the world we have been exposed to.” Really great ways to think about vicarious trauma."

    -KAREN

  • "I so thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated your training- so full of relevant and accessible information and guidance which offered much by way of food for thought and tangible tools. I also must say how moved I was by your sharing your personal experiences of trauma, illuminating that which resonated a great deal about historical and intergenerational trauma. You did so in a way that allowed each person to be drawn into how powerful our life narratives are and how it has implications for our work, its impact, and our resilience. You have no doubt made a world of a difference for all those who had the benefit of listening to and learning from you."
