Experience a feeling of safety, HOMEostasis, in your body so you understand the destination to return to when feeling out of balance.
Listen to the language of your nervous system and identify your individual cues for safety and danger to recognize the terrain and roadmap of how to return home to yourself.
Learn the physiology and neurobiology of the stress response system so you know how to partner with your own body to work for you, not against you.
Create a personalized wellness plan that is unique to what your nervous system needs to tap into your unique power.

Experience the power of an ancient indigenous ritual from a local curandera that challenges the edges of what we believe we can do. This traditional steam lodge will cleanse, detox, and empower yourself.
Increase your ability to go from an activated nervous system to one at rest. Cold exposure is both a healthy stress and an opportunity for regulating our nervous system, by not just increasing our window of tolerance, but also by increasing our capacity for joy in stressful situations.
Challenge the programming that is currently running your life. Psilocybin creates flexibility (neuroplasticity) in our patterns of being so that we can create new paradigms that reflect the life we want to create.
Participate in powerful embodiment practices to quiet your mind and full embody the present moment. Find equilibrium between your breath and body. There will be morning guided yoga practices with the opportunity to practice anytime on the yoga deck that overlooks the ocean. The practice will range from restorative to vinyasa to gently wake up your body at all levels.
Humans need each other to feel heard and seen and supported. This is an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who are ready to do the work and take action on their own healing and nervous system regulation, and to extend that to each other. In a group of regulated bodies an energy of co-regulation is created, and we become the medicine.

These retreats help you remember who you are and let go of what you don't need; what you don't realize you are carrying. I am still carrying the weekend with me almost 3 weeks later. I am dedicating more time to myself in a quiet, intentional and spiritual space. I have tapped back into practice and parts of myself that got lost along the way of living. Julianne offered this undercurrent of regulation and safety. It is an intentional and sacred experience with one another and with yourself. It can be whatever you want/need it to be and you are very supported throughout the whole experience.
The retreat was transformative and wonderful. Julianne and the people she brought in were all fantastic and brought in an energy that was so valuable. I loved every bit of it, even the parts that were super uncomfortable. Since returning, I have continued to explore the parts of myself that are begging for growth and challenge. I have been able to push myself to be more authentic both within myself and with others. I have been feeling rejuvenated and more fulfilled. I feel proud of myself for pushing into my discomfort. Thank you Julianne for bringing yourself into this experience. I feel honored to be able to be a part of these retreats and your medicine.
It is my therapeutic recommendation that you go to a Julianne Chapman retreat. I was able to shed a lot of the pain, fear and self-doubt that had been stunting me in my relationships as well as in my professional work. The opportunity to better understand myself, my needs, and my power throughout this experience surprised me in ways that I did not anticipate but am so grateful for. This is Julianne’s calling and it feels so inspiring to be with someone who knows who they are and is unapologetic about what they are about. Her presence vicariously encourages me to grow into a more authentic version of myself and I am always eager to be in your orbit.

ARE YOU READY TO INVEST IN YOU?
To feel overwhelmed, overworked, burnt out, and in a place where you are reacting to what comes your way and trying to keep up with life. Your plate is full and any thoughts of self-care are pushed to tomorrow, hoping you’ll feel caught up or have the energy. You’re tired and struggle to implement changes in your spare time because you are paralyzed by indecision. You are unsure where to start caring for yourself due to the overwhelm of options and opinions. Or, maybe you have some ideas, but you struggle with implementing them.
Hear from Ted about how much this retreat changed him...
After the retreat, I can now feel a connection with my bodily experience of my world that I wasn't sure was possible, or haven't felt in a long time and forgot about. My relationship between my breath and my connection to Spirit has deepened and allowed me to access a grounding sense of well being on an on-demand basis. I can more easily hold space for my family in their times of need. I've made lifestyle changes such as watching less TV, not drinking alcohol, and spending more time thinking, writing, reading, and meditating more. These changes have increased my overall happiness with living as a human.
Professionally, I'm showing up for my clients from a centered place in my being/body that allows my nervous system to reach theirs in a new way. I'm feeling 'the calling' of my work as I have at a handful of times in the past but not in a while. The day I got back I filled my office with a bunch of new plants to bring more life and earthiness to my four walled space. My creativity in my interventions has expanded, and I'm encouraging/guiding my clients to connect with their physical selves more.
If you'd like to open your body and mind to the kind of transformation that you long for or haven't even realized you've been longing for, then you need this retreat! Julianne was the container and held the container for us really nicely. From the virtual prep sessions to the closing circle you guided us each to stay open to the learning and sharing it with each other. She cared very deeply for each of our personal experiences of this retreat. This was definitely part of the medicine.
I love her style of leadership. It's caring, intentional, and focused, but not too direct or inflexible. I really honor her willingness to share parts of herself. I love the way she brought up hard topics with the right balance of seriousness and light.
ABOUT JULIANNE
As a social worker, I experienced intense burnout and vicarious trauma after investigating child abuse for 8 years.
During my own personal healing journey, I became certified as a yoga teacher, and shamanic breathwork facilitator, and received a certification in nutrition and integrative medicine for mental health and psychedelic psychotherapy.
Over the past decade, my healing journey has focused on understanding the nervous system, increasing joy, and finding compassion for my own trauma narrative.
In the last 5 years, I’ve been teaching trauma-informed care, nervous system regulation, and holistic wellness strategies for creating HOMEostasis in the body.
I train social workers, therapists, medical staff, and other frontline workers on prevention and interventions for vicarious trauma and burnout.
I guide psychedelic psychotherapy and integration sessions and have a deep respect for plant wisdom.
I believe deeply in the medicine of human connection to bring us back to ourselves and each other. I enjoy dancing, music, surfing, yoga, writing, and travel, and believe my life is my self-care.
I’m a holistic trauma therapist, educator, and speaker, trained in somatic approaches to healing the mind and body. With a master's degree in social work and a clinical license for psychotherapy focused on attachment and trauma. My passion is bringing healing to those who are overburned by caring for others.
