DECOMPRESS

A free, one-hour workshop on managing overwhelm for women in healthcare or human services.

April 10th at 6:00PST

No doubt you often find yourself feeling like you have nothing left to give, like you’re at full capacity and there’s no room for more. You are not alone. While the system you have been working for tends to focus on productivity over humanness, the truth is you have simply reached your capacity for emotional load. You need to release to make space for more, and that comes from learning the tools to decompress.

Purge and discharge what you carry to feel the lightness of life again.

Join me for this one-hour workshop and here’s what’s included:

  • Get a guided meditation for neuro-somatic mindfulness. Get techniques to control your heart rate and breathing to self-soothe and drop in with yourself and your body throughout the day.

  • Understand your nervous system. Tune into the symptoms of your nervous system so your body can tell you when it's activated and you need to decompress.

  • Align your energy with the life you want. Uncover the feelings you want to feel, the activities that give you those feelings, and how to increase them in your life for greater satisfaction and happiness.

The more we anchor into the physical body, the less the mind wanders. In neurological terms, we are shifting from an active default mode network to the present moment network.

Learn about Julianne

My approach to burnout is trauma-informed and rooted in a real understanding of the way trauma takes a toll, because I have been in your shoes.

As a social worker, I experienced intense burnout and vicarious trauma after investigating child abuse for 8 years.

During my own personal healing journey, I became certified as a yoga teacher, and shamanic breathwork facilitator, and received a certification in nutrition and integrative medicine for mental health and psychedelic psychotherapy.

Over the past decade as a psychotherapist, I have focused on understanding the nervous system, increasing joy, and finding compassion for my own trauma narrative.

In the last 5 years, I’ve been teaching trauma-informed care, nervous system regulation, and holistic wellness strategies to other women in healing professions.

I’m a holistic trauma therapist, educator, and speaker, trained in somatic approaches to healing the mind and body. With a master's degree in social work and a clinical license for psychotherapy focused on attachment and trauma. My passion is bringing healing to women who are overburdened by caring for others.

  • ”There will come a time at work when you are exhausted, tired, and burnt out. No matter who you are and how immune you think you are, it will happen. Being able to recognize the signs is the most important step to allow you to change or regulate. This training goes a long way in discussing how to identify burnout and vicarious trauma.”

    - District Attorney

  • “It’s going to make you feel validated as a worker in a high-stress workplace. It’s going to make you feel better overall.”

    - Forensic interviewer for child abuse

  • "I so thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated your training- so full of relevant and accessible information and guidance which offered much by way of food for thought and tangible tools. I also must say how moved I was by your sharing your personal experiences of trauma, illuminating that which resonated a great deal about historical and intergenerational trauma. You did so in a way that allowed each person to be drawn into how powerful our life narratives are and how it has implications for our work, its impact, and our resilience. You have no doubt made a world of a difference for all those who had the benefit of listening to and learning from you."
